12. Regrettably the Hotels Advisory Committee did not adopt the
suggestions made and proceeded upon a course of inquiry whereby :
(a) Questionnaire forms were sent to all Hotels and Boarding
Houses to be filled in and independent questionnaire
forms were sent to hotel residents;
(b) Balance sheets of accounts of various Hotels and
Boarding Houses were asked for and inspected;

The Committee undertook in due course to hear the views
of the Hotels and Boarding Houses Association stating
that the Association's Counsel would be given "ample
opportunity for presenting their clients' views when
the time comes."; and
The Committee undertook to hear views of any Hotels
Residents Association or any similar body.
13. In the course of this inquiry, Your Petitioners supplied, in addition to the balance sheets and accounts presented, a detailed
analysis in each case by one of the most reputable of firms of
Chartered Accountants in the Colony and Your Petitioners are
desirous of pointing out that in all the analyses presented, no
